new roof pymble

Happy New Year to everyone, I hope all had a great Christmas and New Year break.

We are back and in full swing with a new roof well under way.

We have managed to complete a couple of jobs in our first week back, including a re-bed and pointing of all ridge caps and gables in the Davidson area.

Cement work was old and re-pointing completely seals the roof from the rain, putting a stop to the leaks they were experiencing. We also replaced all the gutters on this house at the customers request as they were also old and dripping in places.

Just around the corner in Killarney Heights we then completed repairs to a roof with leaks around the skylight, the skylight needed lifting slightly to the suit correct tile pitch. We re-bed and pointed all ridge caps and gables to the upper and lower roofs and replaced a timber barge to the left elevation.

We had two smaller repairs more local in Mt Colah and Thornleigh that have been attended to and now all hands are on deck to complete the installation of the new roof over in Pymble.

This is a repeat customer we have done some repair works for her in the past and now are working in with her builder to lay the roof on her new extension.

We are also suppling and fixing insulation to the roof and installing all new gutters and downpipes.

Depending on how this weather continues, we hope to be finished in Pymble by the end of next week, with several accepted quotations waiting for their roof works to commence.

I would like to welcome our new first year roofing apprentice, Jordan to the team and congratulate Mitch for completing his first year at tafe and moving up to our second year apprentice. We also have a new truck driver on board and hope to take on another fully qualified roofer early this year.
